It’s twice now that Sutherland’s characters (Jack Bauer, Tom Kirkman) have lost their on-screen wives on a TV series, leaving his characters permanently devastated in way that time will never heal.Kirkman decides the drone is his only option to keep everyone safe, but then there’s another hitch: The female senator from the committee pulls them into emergency court to halt the drone. There’s a bit of legal back and forth, and long story short: Aaron has a stroke of genius to have the FBI pull off the drone strike and not the Army, and then it’s totally legal and fine.
